“ This was a surprise hit of a restaurant, we needed something close to our hotel fairly last minute. It quickly cemented itself as one of our fave dinner experiences from a 2 week+ trip. It's warm and inviting and packed with Italians and friends of the restaurant as well as many locals. We stuffed ourselves with fresh tagliatelle pesto, tender beef, warm bread and herby butter, juicy prosciutto melon and melt in your mouth pillowy tiramisu. Not only was every dish plentiful and incredibly well made, the service was impeccable. Our waiter was funny, gracious and anticipated every need. The standout was when a friend had to take an emergency call and her food had all cooled by the time she got back. Without any prompting, the waiter whisked away her cold soup and brought her a fresh hot bowl. I've never seen that before and we all bravoed. The owner (from Sardinia!) was also there, greeting folks and enjoying his wine. You can tell everyone is treated well and the quality shows across the board. Make this a must stop when you're in Maastricht! ”
